Baby Andy Professional Portraits

Seeing that our first grandson has hit the ripe age of 6 months old, we decided to finally get some professional portraits done. It was quite an interesting task, waiting for the two screaming and very unhappy babies that were before us, as well as getting Andy to smile at the photographer he did not know.

Past Predictions That Were Way Off

A good friend of mine sent me a list of past predictions, some which are several years old and some that are quite off. I’ll say nothing further but simply allow you to enjoy them as I did.

Carpet Cleaner Telemarketing On My Cell Phone

It has happened twice now. Some nameless carpet cleaning company calls my cell phone (a no no in the first place) to try to get me to schedule service with them. It is a computer that actually calls which then prompts me to select the number 1 to schedule appointment. I am then sent over to a “real” human being whom I assume schedules the service.

Baby Andy on Easter

It’s hard to believe that our new grandson, Andy is almost three months old. During the first eight weeks, it didn’t seem like their was much change. Netflix – You Need To Increase Your Inventory!

I love Netflix – the ease of ordering DVDs online and getting them in your mail box. However, I am a bit disappointed in Netflix today. I checked my queue which displays all the DVDs that I have slatted to arrive soon, and 10 out of the first 15 have “waits” on them. In other words, Netflix does not have enough inventory to supply me so I have to wait for other members to return DVDs.

I Rank Number One For My Name

When conducting a vanity search today for my own name, I discovered that I have finally hit the top spot on Google. I think I’ve hit the # 1 spot on Yahoo! in the past – maybe even MSN. But really, who cares about them? Google has the vast majority of search market share so any good ranking with them is a big deal.

Disneyland Updates: WDI Changing the Face of ‘It’s a Small Word’

Most everyone that has visited the “It’s a Small World” attraction in Disneyland knows all to well that its theme song will stick with you for the rest of your day. Many would also agree that it is not as “thrilling” as Space Mountain, Indiana Jones or other thrill rides at the original theme park. However, it is nostalgic Walt Disney.
