7 Ridiculous Homeowners Association (HOA) Rules

The astonishingly restrictive ways of homeowners associations (HOAs) came under scrutiny this month when a Sussex Square, Virginia, HOA demanded that a 90-year-old World War II vet remove an unapproved flag pole from his front yard. After receiving support from members of Congress, and even the Obama administration, Medal of Honor recipient Van T. Barfoot, who once singlehandedly took on three Nazi tanks, triumphed in his quest to fly Old Glory. Other homeowners haven’t been as lucky in their battles against their own HOAs’ “fascist” rules.

After many years of wanting to see U2 live but always missing the opportunity (concerts sell out), I finally got to see themalong with my lovely wife Irma in their biggest, baddest show yet – U2 360. Tuesday, October 20th at the Cardinals stadium is where it all took place and although the show here didn’t sell out (Phoenix you suck), there were about 55,000 in attendance.

Sold: Marshall AVT 275 2×12 Combo Guitar Amplifier

I recently purchased a Vox Custom Classic AC15CC1 Guitar Amp so the Marshall Guitar Amp I’ve been using for the last several years has to go. San Francisco / Bay Area in Two Days

Irma and myself have made it an annual event to visit San Francisco and the Bay Area annually in conjunction with Search Marketing Expo and Search Engine Strategies conferences that are held in the San Jose area.

Typically we take 3-4 days after the conference and head up the 101 to San Francisco as well as wine Napa and/or Sonoma Counties. Most recently, we decided to hit do the “vacation” portion of our trip first and limited it to just two days.

5 Coasters Added To My List This Year

5 Coasters Added To My List This Year

I’m done traveling for the year and with my travels, I was fortunate to add another 5 roller coasters to my list. This brings me to a grand total of 133 individual roller coasters I have rode in my life. 5 may not seem like a lot but seeing that I didn’t actually travel just to ride coasters but rode these new coasters during normal business travel, I’m satisfied with the number.
