For some strange reason, the "Comment" function on this post keeps breaking when it gets close to 6,000 comments. I've had to go in several times now and delete older comments in order to get the "Comment" function to work again.

Therefore to keep from deleting older comments as well as having to go back in fix this when it breaks. I'm going to close comments here and invite you to comment at http://www.davidwallace.com/2008/08/how-i-lost-40-pounds-in-40-days-the-hcg-diet/ where it seems everyone has shifted over to any way.

I do plan on building a firm one day at http://www.hcgtalk.com but just haven't had time to complete it yet. Thanks for your understanding the the community everyone has created here by commenting!

Chicken breast only Bee. I weighed mine after I grilled it though, had an old friend who had weighed the 3.5 oz then would grill it, then weighed it again, it was weighing out 3.2 after grilling, so I just got in the habit of weighing out the 3.2 after it was cooked instead. :)
Please read the website I just posted

Are you saying that you missed the 500 but going over or under?? If it is under I would say just make sure you are getting enough calorie intake to sustain you. The fruits and veggies that are suggested are scientifically proven to work well together which is why they food list is so restricted to just that specific food for phase 2. Just be careful.... you'll do great.

Chris? What did you eat or not eat to only get to 370 calories? 3.5 oz of chicken breast alone is 105 calories. Then you have one more protein(different one) for the day, 2 fruits and 2 veggies, that should have added up to more than 370 calories. You want to eat least get to around 460 for the day. I would up my veggie before I would up my protein, also remember to weigh out the fruits/veggies. core your apple then weigh it, peel your orange and weigh it. I would weigh out my strawberries too(5.3 oz is 50 calories). An apple is 16.25 calories for each ounce and an orange is 14.55 calories in an ounce.

I would not worry yet. Your body may be just adjusting. I had days where the same thing happened to me. It was frustrating because you try so hard to only consume the alloted amount of calories and still no weight lose. Just hang in there your body will catch up. Also remember that you will need to consider the facr that most people do not go to the bathroom as often considering the low caloric intake.....maybe that is your issue. wait and see what happens!!! Good luck!!!

Hey there... I am on Phase 2 day 9, I have lost a total of 10 pounds but I lost 2 pounds a day until the 6th day.. I lost 1 1/2 pounds, 7th day 1/2 pound to get my 10 total pounds lost, but I havent lost any more since then... I am doing the injections, following the diet and drinking all my water, and more water. Why the stall? What should I do or should I not be worried?
